Privacy and cookies.
This site sets no cookies and does not track you. This page explains the little personal data that is involved and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible
Antonio Ferrer-Sánchez runs this personal research website. For any question about your data, write to antonio.ferrer.contact@gmail.com.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not deploy any cookies or other local storage, analytics, advertising, or embedded third-party content. All fonts, scripts, and images are sourced from this site. Since it does not employ cookies or any comparable non-essential storage that necessitates user consent as per Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI), it does not display a cookie banner.
The “Copy address” button on the home page writes the email address to your clipboard only when you press it. The site never reads your clipboard.
If this ever changes, this page will be updated and the site will ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that “when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes”. GitHub collects these logs under its own privacy statement; the site owner has no access to them.
If you write to me, I receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message in a Gmail account provided by Google. I use them only to reply to you, on the basis of the legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and I delete the conversation when you ask or when it no longer needs a reply. The “Write in Gmail” link opens Google's own website, where Google's privacy policy applies.
GitHub and Google are based in the United States. Their privacy statements describe the safeguards they apply to transfers of personal data outside the European Union.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, ORCID, Google Scholar and journal publishers open those sites in a new tab. Their own privacy policies apply from that point.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for access to your data, and for its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability. You can also object to its processing. Write to antonio.ferrer.contact@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or with the supervisory authority where you live.
